Cory Hudson covers some of the new string functions in Prototype 1.5. (via snook.ca).

For those of you not familiar with prototype.js, It’s my favorite javascript library. It makes programming javascript easy (heh yeah right; it makes it easier and certainly enjoyable, but not easy). But the best part is that it Isn’t a framework that tries to shove a way of programming down your throat, it just adds things you wish the language had all along.

I’ve been using prototype for more than a year now and it’s well worth it. I haven’t regretted it once even though i’ve looked at numerous other frameworks/libraries. For a more complete overview on what prototype offers check out the developer notes
